Lateral Lines

Our valued client Colin Gans will once again have his stunning images on display.  This time they are in support of a CD launch by internationally renowned classical guitarist, Bruce Paine.  Colin's images have formed part of the inspiration for Bruce's CD.

The CD launch promises to be full of stimulation for the senses - with beautiful music, a slideshow, and beautiful canvas prints on display - not to mention drinks and nibbles!  :-)

Details and a large version of this flyer are available on Colin's exhibitions page.

Calling all Underwater Photographers!

Here's a great chance to get hold of a FREE canvas print of your prized underwater photos!

"Really? Howcome?"
Glad you asked... we've recently started producing canvas prints for Colin Gans - check out some of his awesome works for sale here at his gallery site. Through Colin, we became aware of the SEAFANZ Underwater Photographic Society. Through Colin we are delighted to have also been introduced to the good people at Dive New Zealand Magazine.

"That's nice - but tell me about the free prints!"
OK, OK, here's the gen: we've teamed up with SEAFANZ and Dive New Zealand to sponsor part of the prize package for the winners announced in each issue of Dive New Zealand Magazine of the SEAFANZ Shades of Colour Underwater Photographic Competition. Here's what to do:
  1. Capture a brilliant underwater scene
  2. Enter as either "Novice" or "Advanced" in the bi-monthly competition
  3. If you win, part of a great prize will be a print of your winning image!
Check out the details on the competition page of the Dive New Zealand website.

We have a huge amount of respect for underwater photographers. Getting everything right on dry land using a tripod is hard enough for most of us. The concept of tackling issues of composition and lighting whilst also thinking about currents, pressure, remaining air, length of time at this depth, etc. is impressive. Then trying to capture images of often shy, fast-moving and sometimes dangerous creatures is enough to boggle the mind!

So - come on underwater photography enthusiasts - show us what you've got!
